We understand the emotions and concerns the propane operator experiences when considering selling the business.  Almost exclusively, the owner has resided in an area where many customers are friends or close acquaintances.

The owner, as a result of servicing customers well for several years, is usually highly respected by the community.  Realizing this, it is important that a change of ownership be done in such a manner to protect this relationship with friends, customers, the community and particularly, employees.  The Canyon Group is very sensitive to this, and conducts its representation accordingly.

We insist that the transaction be conducted in an atmosphere of strict confidentiality.  Realizing that the retail propane business is highly competitive, we demand that both the prospective buyer and seller adhere to specific confidentiality rules during the transaction.
